St. Patrick's Day Parade

The community of Holland, well known for it’s Dutch ancestry, goes Irish once again. For the sixth year in a row organizers will commemorate St. Patrick with the annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in Downtown Holland! The event will kick off with a spectacular St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Satruday, March 13 at noon.
Irish dancers, bagpipers, and kilt-wearers are just a few of the parade highlights! Families and individuals wearing green are invited to carry Irish flags in the parade (a limited number of flags will be available at no charge). The parade begins at the Eight Street Marketplace at 8th Street and Pine and travel east down 8th Street until it reaches the Curragh Irish Pub and New Holland Brewing Co. (on the corner on Eighth Street and College Avenue).
The parade has partnered with Community Action House (CAH) to help fill their food pantry. Parade participants and viewers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated. Collection areas will be provided.
