Division 1 Theatre Regional

Five of the top schools in the state will compete for two slots to the state finals, held later in the month at Midland Center for the Arts. Competing in the region are last year’s regional winner, Midland High School as well as Novi High School, Battle Creek High School, Beverly Hills Groves High School, and Holland High School. Holland High will present a 1920s blues and jazz version of “Romeo and Juliet.” Students wrote the music, designed the set and costumes, and will play in the orchestra.
Performance schedule:
– 9:30-10:15am: Midland
– 10:55-11:40am: Novi
– 12:20-1:05pm: Battle Creek
– 2:30-3:05pm: Groves
– 3:45-4:30pm: Holland
Awards announced at 6:00pm
Admission is free. Once a show has started, audience members will not be allowed to enter the theater until the end of that production.
