Kids Activities: What's Hiding in your Favorite Foods?

Lori Hertel and the Hope College Van Kley Science Museum staff will be on hand to answer that question! They will help your children examine how much sugar, fat, and salt are in the most common snack foods. Kids will also be invited to participate in a healthy food scavenger hunt through the Market and will be given seeds to grow their own snacks at home!

Each week at the Kids Activities at the Holland Farmers Market, children from preschool to fifth grade can enjoy fun, educational, and hands-on activities free of charge. The Kids Activities take place from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm every Wednesday from June 2 to August 25. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
