Little People Olympics

Last year over 140 boys and girls competed in this annual event for 2-8 year olds (age as of June 5, 2010). Field location is at the Matt Urban Sports Complex, 270 East 32nd Street. Kids will have fun running, jumping, throwing, and kicking. Events include: 40 Yard Dash, 60 Yard Dash, Tennis Ball Throw, and Soccer Ball Kick. All participants will receive an award for their participation plus a special sportsmanship award. Separate divisions for boys and girls.
Parents MUST have their children at the field and be ready to receive instructions BEFORE 9:30 AM, in order for this program to run smoothly. Children are divided into their age groups and sent to their event stations on the field at 9:30 AM. This activity will begin at 9:30 AM sharp!! In case of bad weather, please listen to 1450 AM or 92.7 FM or call the Recreation Division cancellation line at 616.355.1139 regarding cancellations.
Admission: $5.00 Holland City Residents/ $7.00 Non-Resident, $10.00 Onsite Registration
