Rick Doogie

Join us for our last Backyard Beer-B-Q of the season featuring a performance by Rick Doogie!

Rick has been entertaining West Michigan crowds for over 30 years. He plays a mean electric guitar, but his roots are in acoustic guitar music, his first love. He has a massive repertoire of energetic rock songs and mellow folk songs, while an occasional blues or country song shows off his impressive variety of acoustic stylings.

Rick is the real deal and never uses back-tracks or sheet music to distract from the emotional content of the music. People love the raw acoustic ballads and unplugged rockers that Rick performs with minimal gimmicks getting in the way of the energy and emotion. He is constantly adding cover songs to his show, so it’s never the same old same old. In addition, he loves doing great rare songs that aren’t worn-out from too much airplay.

Rick packed the patio the last time he was here at the pub! Be sure to come check him out, especially if you missed him the last time!
