Mo(ve)ment

“Mo(ve)ment” is a multidisciplinary performance of the collaborative efforts of several Michigan and international artists. Dancer/choreographer Benno Hubner (Netherlands), Visual Artists Tali Farchi (Netherlands) and Royce Deans (Michigan) and Jazz musician Jim Cooper and guests (Michigan), will come together to present a spontaneous and improvisational dialogue of creativity designed to show the viewer the depth and range of artistic expression. A screen displays the paintings as they are created while dancers move in front of the screen in response to the artwork. All of these elements are stitched together by the rhythmic/melodious call and response dialogue of live music. Be sure and come for an evening of unforgettable art, music and dance that is sure to leave you inspired!
