Farmers Market Kids Activities: Butterflies and Blooms (Session Two)

In this activity, your children will be introduced to the lives of butterflies by Holland Area Master Gardener Shannon Campau. Your children will hear a story about butterflies, see how to identify the different types, and even learn a song about their lifecycle. Kids will then get to plant a sunflower seed in the hopes of attracting butterflies to their own backyard.
The Big Read Bus will visit the Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with great books for fun summer reading!
