Experience the enchanted wonder of Europe through the magic of music and support a most significant cause! Pianist/Composer Jan Mulder, together with his orchestra consisting of 50 professional musicians and a choir of 32 exceptional vocalists, will join in a never before produced event to be held in the Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, MI. A special appearance by the Dutch Mulder Boys, playing their six handed keyboard will add to the excitement of the evening. In addition to the professional musicians, Jan Mulder has invited the well known coloratura soprano Suzanne Galer, originally a Grand Rapids native, to perform in this outstanding production. This promises an opportunity through music to allow one to be transported into the enchanted ambiance of a romantic evening in Europe. The concert will feature compositions by Mozart, Verdi, Strauss, Morricone, Mancini, Puccini, Bizet etc. and music composed by Jan Mulder. For the last three years Jan Mulder has been the only Dutch composer on the list of 1,000 best and favorite classical compositions. More than 1 million CDs have been sold of the recordings he made with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. Jan Mulder has performed throughout Europe. In 2003 he was invited by Dr. Robert Schuller to perform at The Crystal Cathedral in California. This concert resulted in a European tour for The Hour of Power with personal appearances by members of the Schuller family during the series. At this debut concert on June 28, 2008, Mayor Al McGeehan will formally present the newest CD titled ‘Coming to America’. Net proceeds of this benefit concert will go to Habitat for Humanity
