Denison Witmer to Perform

Denison Witmer lives and records in Philadelphia, Pa. He has been recording and performing for almost a decade since being discovered by Don Peris, producer and guitarist for Innocence Mission. His music is often likened to 1970s singers/songwriters such as Cat Stevens and Nick Drake.
Denison’s shows are known for being intimate and beautiful. “College Music Journal” described him by saying, “[His] gentle guitar and soothing voice are deceptively powerful, enough to put even the most jaded indie rockers in touch with their inner James Taylor.”
Ordinary Neighbors consists of husband-and-wife songwriters Josh Banner and Susanna Childress. The project began as they wrote songs together during their long-distance engagement in 2004 and 2005. Their music drifts between and seeks to justify their influences in both folk music and electronica.
Admission: $5 for the Hope community and $10 for members of the general public
