South of the Equator Wine Tasting

Over the past few years the wine press has been abuzz with the surprising quality of wines from the southern hemisphere. We at Butch’s know first-hand that it is very difficult to find a more favorable quality to price ratio than with wines from these countries, so we’re excited to host the 5th annual South of the Equator Tasting on Saturday, February 28, 2009. This is your best chance to taste over 70 wines from South Africa, Oceana, and South America. For fans of Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec and Pinotage this is your event. The cost is $25 and includes tastes of the 70+ wines, light appetizers and charming company. The event begins at 5:00 pm and goes to 8:30 pm. RSVP is not required, but is appreciated.
