The Dirty Heads

The PARK Theatre announces the appearance of National Recording artists “The Dirty Heads” this coming Wednesday, March 11th.
On a North American tour to promote their newest album, Any Port in a Storm as a prelim to joining the Van’s Warped Tour in the summer.

“We want to be positive and entertain,” says Dirty Heads vocalist Jared Watson. “We just want to make you feel good.”

Those feel-good roots of the Dirty Heads are grounded in the Orange County community of Huntington Beach. Founded nearly a decade ago by Watson and guitarist/vocalist Dustin Bushnell, the Dirty Heads humble beginnings feature too many late night sessions in the garage with nothing but a four-track recorder and an abundance of great ideas.

Years later, they established an extensive tour history and a solid fan base. The band has played with bands like 311, Matisyahu, Unwritten Law, Fishbone, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Kottonmouth Kings, expendables, Rock the Bells and many more.

Featured in the award winning surf video’s such as: “2nd Thoughts” produced by professional surfer and film maker timmy turner, professional surfer and pipeline masters champ Jamie O’Brien’s solo video “Freakside” and the summer blockbuster hit movie and soundtrack for “Surf’s Up” (Sony 2007), the Dirty Heads are making a splash on the surf scene.

Follow Suit – featuring ’08 Lakeshore Idol Finalist, Garrett Borns will open and take the stage at 8:15pm. Cost: $10 cover at the door – some mature content 17+ advised
