Dinners by the Book: Jacques Pepin with Wine Pairings by Jean-Jacques Fertal

You’ve probably been hearing your friends talk about heading off to Butch’s this Sunday for an amazing prix fixe meal featuring the recipes of Jacques Pepin and custom wine pairings by renowned French wine importer, Jean-Jacques Fertal, and maybe you’ve dismissed the idea as shear lunacy, “Butch’s open on Sunday!? Are they mad?” We are here to salvage your friends’ good names, save you the bother of having to visit them at the sanatorium, and save you from missing out on what will be one of the finest Sunday dinners this side of the Atlantic. On March 29, 2009 at 5:00 pm, Butch’s will indeed be hosting a prix fixe dinner. Yes we will have our doors open on Sunday evening, but only to those endowed with the foresight to RSVP. The dinner will be the first installment of our “Dinners by the Book” series, a series that we are all excited about because it offers our kitchen an excellent opportunity to really cut loose and show their stuff! This Sunday’s menu will feature:
