Bacchus Festival at Via Maria

This five course feast, a celebration of Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and revelry, will be paired with wines fit for the gods. Cost is $60 per person. A 10% discount will be given to those booking at least 48 hours in advance.

Courses Being Served:

1. Seafood Taster: One oyster shot with a vodka-Bloody Mary sauce and pickled cucumber garnish, the other oyster, polenta-dusted and served over a smoked-red chile sauce, sided with a spicy Italian sausage and a crab-stuffed, cherrystone clam with a creamy, blanched brussels sprout slaw.

2. Chicken Legs: Slow-roasted, beer-battered, and fried crispy, served over a sweet corn and bacon risotto-stuffed corn husk with paprika-dusted, fried carrot ribbons, and finished with savory Porcini mushroom sauce and grilled chive vinaigrette.

3. Baby Lettuce Bowl: Stuffed with smoked Salmon locks, Heirloom tomatoes, fresh Mozzarella and pine-nuts, topped with fried basil leaves, and dressed with white truffle oil, and a balsamic vinegar reduction.

4. Veal Rack: Maple-infused rack of veal served with a Butternut squash bulb filled with Gorgonzola-parsnip puree, topped with a sauté of rampini, prosciutto & caramelized Cipollini onions, finished with a fresh rosemary-pomegranate jus.

5. Toasted Hazelnut Crème Brulee: Served with housemade chocolate truffles, orange-brown sugar tuile, and a fresh strawberry compote.
