Something Takes Place

Something Takes Place is a multi-media art show, held the second Thursday of every month, which is open to everyone! Something takes place when creative people get involved, whether you’re a poet or sculptor, photographer, animator or break dancer, oil painter, folk singer or garage band. We want to see the result of you doing “your something”.

Before we have art, we have ideas. Concepts. Sparks. A thought happens. Sometimes it is an explosive moment. Others, it calmly rushes over you. Something takes place, which makes your ideas evolve into your work as an artist. You nurture it, cutaway at it, guide it, with the goal of leaving behind a perfect piece of yourself.
