Craft Brews, Spirits, and Wines
In a state known for its award-winning breweries, microbreweries, and brew pubs, Holland can hold its own. We are home to several breweries that pride themselves on creating fantastic craft beer, artisan spirits, and locally made wine using the finest locally-grown ingredients. We even have our own Hops Farm that supplies our local brewers with the finest Michigan grown hops! From tasting rooms to tours, locally-grown hops and grapes to hand–crafted cocktails and ciders, you will be sure to find the perfect pour!
Downtown Holland Social District hours are Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm. The social district is not open during Downtown Holland parades.
As part of the Social District, patrons ages 21+ can purchase an alcoholic beverage from a participating establishment and consume it outdoors on the sidewalk. Please be aware of the following rules so that the social district can continue to be enjoyed safely:
- Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the social district from home or from any establishment other than those list on this website.
- Alcoholic beverages must be in approved cups only, which must have both the Downtown Holland Social District sticker and the name of the establishment clearly visible.
- Alcoholic beverages can only be consumed on the public sidewalk (ie: the commons area) located within the boundaries. Beverages cannot be consumed in the road, in parking lots, on private property or in any parks or green spaces. Alcoholic beverages cannot be removed from the boundary area.
- You may not enter another dining establishment, retail store, outdoor dining area, private park, or any other private business with an alcoholic beverage that you have purchased at an approved social district establishment.
- Please help keep Downtown Holland clean and dispose of your cup in a proper recycling receptacle!

Handcrafted Passport
Check out our “Handcrafted Passport” featuring breweries, wineries, distilleries and cideries in the greater Holland area.
With the ‘handcrafted’ and ‘keeping-it-local’ scene becoming increasingly popular, the passport offers an opportunity for an adventure, to sit and hear the individual establishment’s story, and to learn about their unique handcrafted product. Having a ‘passport’ (that includes a place to jot down tasting notes), provides a handy reference for visitors and locals alike!
The passport is free and available to anyone (21 and over) who enjoys artisan beverages. Passports can be picked up at the Holland Area Visitors Bureau (78 East 8th Street) or can be mailed within the continental U.S.
