The Pump House is the last surviving structure of the splendid Hotel Ottawa Complex. It was built in 1901 as an Edison Electric Power Plant to provide lighting for the hotel and grounds.  After the hotel burned in 1923, an existing pump was relocated to the building to provide water to the cottages at Ottawa Beach. 

The Pump House Museum and Learning Center at Historic Ottawa Beach will reopen for Saturdays and Sundays throughout June.

July 1 through Labor Day the museum will be open daily (hours to be determined).

The 100th anniversary of the Hotel Ottawa  fire is featured in the south gallery.

Sparking Change: the electrification of Holland is featured in the north gallery.

Several hands on interactive displays for kids and families.
