Centennial Park Studios is a shared work space and gallery for three established creatives with decades of experience in their given fields. Joel Schoon-Tanis is a painter and children’s book illustrator known for his whimsical, painterly, colorful acrylics and watercolors with a child-like perspective. Barry Elz is a nationally known photographer and oil painter who creates magical land and skyscapes in a contemporary impressionistic style. Amy Hagood heads AeH Designs, a boutique design firm specializing in careful, creative architectural designs for residential and commercial clients. Foot traffic will be welcomed and encouraged during set gallery hours – where you can see the artists at work in their “natural habitats” – as well as by appointment and during First Fridays events (seewww.parkstudios.us for details).
