Winter in Holland

Visit Holland, Michigan in the Winter

Don’t let the winter weather slow you down! Holland, Michigan offers plenty of outdoor adventures and hidden treasures!

No matter the season, Holland provides the perfect landscape for outdoor enthusiasts! Known for our beautiful lakes and beaches, Holland’s coastline is equally as beautiful during the winter months. We have over 1800 acres of parks for hiking, fat-tire biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. With over 8 miles of mountain and fat-tire biking and hiking at Riley trails, the dune climb up to Mt. Pisgah, and the wooded hiking trails at Sanctuary Woods, there is truly something for everyone.

For those who would prefer to stay out of the elements and close to town, enjoy downtown Holland’s snow free streets and cobblestone sidewalks while shopping one-of-a-kind boutiques and galleries, and hop from microbreweries, to restaurants for a culinary adventure!

Keep in mind that when you plan your trip, Sundays in Holland are widely known as a day to recover and rest, so many individually owned and operated businesses may be closed. When you are planning, consider shopping on Saturday and leaving your Sundays open for your outdoor adventures.
