With five public Lake Michigan beaches, it's easy to find a place to relax. The sugar-sand beaches are clean and make a great family getaway for the day. Lake Michigan is great for swimming, boating, and paddling. Holland has multiple options to rent equipment for outdoor recreation, from bikes to sea doos to paddleboards, and even camping equipment!
Summer is also a great time to visit Holland's signature Dutch attractions, or attend free Downtownevents such as the Farmer's Market, outdoor concerts, or street performers. Depending on when you are here, there might even be an opportunity to pick your own fresh fruit. Look for strawberries in June, blueberries in July and August, and raspberries and apples in September.
